Surface Preparation - Concrete
The Fibre Glass surface you are working with may have to be treated differently depending on its current state.
New / unpainted
For optimal results on a Fibre Glass surface in a New / unpainted state, please follow the instructions below for preparation and application. Links to the products utilised in this guide are listed below.
- Preparation

- Abrade surface with general purpose cleaner or Ultra-Clean using Scotch-Brite™ pads or similar
- Rinse with clean water
- Sand down and rinse again
- Application

- Apply 1 coat Ultra-BondFirst
- Apply 2 coats of Ultralast product of choice
- Products that can be used
Paint work in poor condition
For optimal results on a Fibre Glass surface in a Paint work in poor condition state, please follow the instructions below for preparation and application. Links to the products utilised in this guide are listed below.
- Preparation

- Remove all loose paint by scraping and sanding
- Wash down with general purpose cleaner or Ultra-Clean
- Sand thoroughly with 200 grit sand paper
- Wipe off dust
- Application

- Apply 1 coat Ultra-BondFirst
- Apply 2 coats of Ultralast product of choice
